Alarm Receiving

The V-TAS Pro Alarm Receiving module presents alarms to the operator in an easy-to-understand stack. Alarms are colour coded, and priorities are user-definable. Where necessary accepting the alarm initiates connection to devices located around the alarm for visual and audio verification – for example CCTV systems and remote site monitoring equipment.

The software alarm handling behaviour and reporting structure has been designed to comply with BS:5979 We aim to support all third party alarm generating equipment. It is an ever growing list, and includes intruder alarms, exterior “Redwall” style detectors and interior PIR’s, void property systems, building management systems, asset tracking systems, lone worker devices – and access control systems. V-TAS Pro alarm receiving server software queues and manages incoming alarms and integrates seamlessly with both analogue and IP originated alarm signals. Where dual path signalling is specified V-TAS Pro alarm receiving server software integrates with leading alarm receiving server hardware manufacturers.
